We are a family run business established in 1996 & are proud to be one of the largest independent hire companies in the South East of England. Running commercial vehicles ranging from small vans up to 7.5 Ton lorries from 3 branches across Essex, based in South Ockendon, Romford and Basildon. We pride ourselves on the quality of our fleet of 200 vehicles which is still growing. We run late, low mileage, new model vehicles which we believe sets us apart from our competitors & we guarantee we will not be beaten on price for a like for like hire

I'm moving in a week and a half so I was really pleased to be able to get exactly what I needed at such late notice. Anthony at S&J was so polite and helpful, he went out of his way to accommodate what I needed and at such a reasonable price I really can't fault this company or give any less than the full 5 star rating. I'll see you on moving day, for now my mind is at rest with concerns to the transport.
Recently hired two different vehicles in a week at short notice for a house move. The team was very helpful, and efficient. This was after being let down by a more well known company in the Basildon area. The service was chalk and cheese. They have multiple types of vehicle available, and were able to extend the hire period at short notice for me also. Could not fault the service here and would highly recommend.
I used 2 x Luton vans for moving house and found the staff very friendly and helpful I picked one up from Ockendon and one up from Basildon service from both was outstanding. Very clean vans and really reasonably priced. Would 100% recommend and definitely use again. Thank you for making my move a lot easier.
